San Antonio Botanical Gardens Invites Families to Make a Wish at Water Lanterns in the Garden Event

Thousands of glowing lanterns. One unforgettable night. San Antonio Botanical Garden will proudly host Wish: Water Lanterns in the Garden, an enchanting evening celebration featuring thousands of floating and hanging lanterns, live music, illuminated pathways, plus much more, on Friday, February 20.

Set after the Lunar New Year, the celebration is inspired by traditional Japanese lantern festivals, and invites guests of all ages to reflect, embrace new beginnings, and set intentions for the year ahead, with a personal glowing lantern across the Garden’s serene ponds.

Throughout the evening, guests can stroll through radiant gardens, while savoring delicious food and beverages including hot chocolate and smores.

To Note: One (1) lantern per paid ticket. Lanterns will not be provided for children under 3 years of age. Outside lanterns are not permitted.
