This position will require communication and teamwork, in addition to independent work in an assigned area. We are a unique venue for all types of events from small meetings to large galas. This position will be responsible to provide support necessary for event preparation and implementation.
The Seasonal Guest Experience Associate is responsible for making an exceptional first and last impression on the guests, and provides excellent customer service in a professional, friendly, and positive manner. Guest Experience Associates assist with general admission, as well as supporting special exhibition and event operations.
The Guest Experience Team Lead supports the day-to-day operations of admissions and special exhibition activities.
The seasonal unarmed security officer’s main function is to ensure the safety and security of Garden guests, staff, and SABG property during our popular Illuminate event, which runs November 20, 2026 – January 10, 2027, excluding Thanksgiving Day, Christmas, and New Years Day.
Volunteers are essential to fulfilling the Garden’s mission of enriching lives through plants and nature.
