This position will require communication and teamwork, in addition to independent work in an assigned area. We are a unique venue for all types of events from small meetings to large galas. This position will be responsible to provide support necessary for event preparation and implementation.
The Education Assistant serves in the family, youth, and school learning division of the San Antonio Botanical Garden Learning & Interpretation Department. Under the direct supervision of the School Programs Manager and in collaboration with the Director of Youth, Family and School Learning, the Education Assistant will offer educational programs and experiences that communicate the importance of plants and nature.
The unarmed security officer’s main function is to ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and SABG property.
Volunteers are essential to fulfilling the Garden’s mission of enriching lives through plants and nature.
