Under the direct supervision of the San Antonio Botanical Garden Director of Youth, Family and School Learning, the Camp Counselor will offer educational programs and experiences that communicate the importance of plants and nature. This person will work collaboratively with other staff and volunteers to facilitate summer programming. Duties include, but are not limited to, interacting with campers, assisting with youth and family programs, facilitating activities for camp programs, gathering, and preparing materials for programs, and supporting related educational programs.
Under the direct supervision of the San Antonio Botanical Garden Director of Family, Youth, and School Learning, the Education Assistant will offer educational programs and experiences that communicate the importance of plants and nature. This person will work collaboratively with other staff and volunteers to facilitate current programming and develop interpretation materials. Duties include, but are not limited to, interacting with guests, assisting with youth and family programs, facilitating drop-in activity stations for program events, gathering, and preparing materials for programs, and supporting related educational programs.
Under direct supervision of the Horticulturist responsible for the SABG production facilities, the Grower is responsible for plant propagation and greenhouse management to meet the standards of horticultural excellence set for the San Antonio Botanical Garden.
The Guest Experience Associate is responsible for making an exceptional first and last impression on the guests, and provides excellent customer service in a professional, friendly, and positive manner.
The unarmed security officer’s main function is to ensure the safety and security of Garden guests, staff, and SABG property.
Volunteers are essential to fulfilling the Garden’s mission of enriching lives through plants and nature.
