San Antonio Botanical Garden Launches ‘Neighbors in Nature’ Days

Bexar County residents can take advantage of $7 admission on select days throughout the year

In celebration of National Garden Week (June 7—13), San Antonio Botanical Garden is proud to launch Neighbors in Nature Days on Friday, June 12. Neighbors Day is SABG’s first ever-recurring discount program offering Bexar County residents access to one of San Antonio’s most beloved green spaces for just $7.

On Neighbors Day, guests can discover how SABG enriches lives through plants and nature, as well as enjoy year-round community programming on select days throughout the year.

National Garden Week will be packed with several reasons to visit the Garden including:

  • Spurs Game Watch Party | Wednesday, June 10
    • Time: 6:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
    • Cost: FREE for Garden Members
    • Garden members can catch Game 4 of the NBA Finals on multiple screens throughout the Garden and enjoy concessions throughout the evening.
    • Guests interested in membership can Use Code: GROWSPURSGROW for $15 off annual membership
  • Brews & Blooms Craft Beer Festival | Saturday, June 13
    • VIP Admission Time: 3:00 p.m.
    • General Admission Time: 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
    • The 21+ outdoor event features craft beer tastings from local and notable breweries, live entertainment, food, and a vendor market set throughout the Garden.
    • Ticket sales close Friday, June 12.
  • Otherwild | Extended Through August 8
    • The magic of Otherwild isn’t over yet! SABG has extended its run of Otherwild, the immersive large-scale installation by artist Patrick Shearn and his internationally acclaimed studio Poetic Kinetics.
    • The guided experience features 10 Enchanted Trees winding through the Garden’s 39 acres and the breathtaking Flora Borealis, a soaring SkyNet installation suspended above the Lucile Halsell Conservatory.

The mission of the San Antonio Botanical Garden (SABG) is enriching lives through plants and nature. The San Antonio Botanical Garden features 39-acres of nature spaces located deep in the heart of San Antonio. Daily admission to the San Antonio Botanical Garden is $18-22 adults; $16-20 military; $13-15 children aged 3-13; $3 Museums for All (with SNAP or WIC EBT card and valid ID). The San Antonio Botanical Garden is located at 555 Funston Place at North New Braunfels. Limited free on-site parking is available.
