UNESCO City of Gastronomy Guest Chef Series: Sofia Sada

The San Antonio Botanical Garden Guest Chef Series is thrilled to partner with the SA City of Gastronomy Chef Ambassadors. From March 18 to April 11, all six Chef Ambassadors will take over our Outdoor Teaching Kitchen for live cooking demonstrations, sharing their stories and showcasing how they contribute to and preserve the rich culinary culture and legacy of San Antonio.

About the Guest Chef

Growing up in Monterrey, Mexico, Chef Sada was surrounded by the rich culinary traditions with roots that trace back to Spain and Oaxaca. As an executive chef and professor at the Culinary Institute of America, Chef Sada finds immense joy in teaching others and helping them realize their potential. Over the years, she has received multiple awards for being the best chef in San Antonio by San Antonio Magazine and SA Current, while also competing in Iron Chef: Mexico.
