Join Cecilia Barretto and the Garden Culinary Team in the outdoor teaching kitchen at the San Antonio Botanical Garden for a lively wine journey in celebration of Fiesta San Antonio. Cecilia has worn many hats in her journey as a wine expert: sommelier, wine shop owner, winery professional, and wine retail manager. She spent three years in Burgundy obtaining her MSc in Wine Business and holds the prestigious WSET Level 4 Certification. An adjunct professor in viticulture at Palo Alto College and founder of Vinously Speaking Private Wine Events, she brings expertise and energy to every tasting.
Sip wines from France, Spain, Mexico, and Texas while discovering how culture, climate, and terroir shape each glass — paired with generous bites for a festive, educational experience. A salute to history, viticulture, exceptional wine and how it is all tied together! ¡Viva Fiesta!
