Cactus and Xerophyte Weekend

This exhibition, presented in collaboration with the San Antonio Cactus and Xerophyte Society (SACXS), will showcase a stunning array of cactus & succulent species from the members’ personal collections.

Members of the society will be on-site to discuss the art of arid plant cultivation, providing insights and answering questions. Visitors will also be able to learn the process of sowing and caring for cactus and succulents grown from seed. SACXS will have a table set up with information about the society and how to attend meetings or join the society.

There will also be a table display highlighting the society’s special Legacy Project, which provides information about propagation and conservation of cactus and succulents. In addition to the show, cactus and succulents will be available for purchase from local vendors.

The exhibit and vendor sales will be inside the Betty Kelso Center.
