We have been growing nearly 30,000 trees this summer from seeds collected along the Guadalupe River, and they’re ready to find their new home on the riverbank.

We will provide all the trees, tools, and instructions, and you will be accompanied by a trained volunteer leader or staff member. We will be planting easy-to-plant seedlings, and we will provide easy-to-use planting tools. Snacks and water will be provided, but we ask that you bring your own water bottle to refill.

Public planting events are on Saturdays and registration only; registration closes 48 hours before an event. You will receive a Know Before You Go 24 hours before with the planting site and instructions for planting. Please note that volunteers are required to provide their own transportation to and from the planting site located in Kerr County.

All planting events 18 years of age and up. All volunteers must sign liability waivers provided by SABG before participating.

If you or your club, business, or organization would like to schedule one or more planting days, these planting events will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays. To schedule a group planting email, MWelch@sabot.org or CBlumenberg@sabot.org.
