Each “home” features a piece of green infrastructure, from bioswales to cisterns to rain gardens.
There is no irrigation system installed in this space. Each of the five demonstration gardens are hand watered and also display lawn alternative plant selections.
The garden horticulture team says that this is one of the easiest gardens to maintain at SABG. Don’t forget to take a garden design plan located at each of the five demonstration gardens if you would like to recreate a watersaver garden at your home!
