Poetry Walk
Join poet and community naturalist Mobi Warren in a mindful and refreshing walk through the Garden with stops along the way to write short poems inspired by the plants and creatures we encounter.

This is an activity friendly for folks new to writing as well as seasoned poets. Bring a notepad and something to write with. The class is recommended for adults.
Instructor: Mobi Warren
About the Instructor: Mobi Warren has been leading poetry walks in natural areas for over 20 years. She is the author of two poetry chapbooks, Thread and Nectar and The Medicine of Small Gods, as well as a Young Adult novel, The Bee Maker. She is the translator from Vietnamese of several works by Thich Nhat Hanh including The Miracle of Mindfulness and is an eco-puppeteer whose insect puppets promote conservation of the small creatures that run the world.
