Under the Enchanted Trees: Moving with Art, Nature, and the Self

Inspired by the shifting patterns and colors of the Flora Borealis installation, this somatic movement experience invites you to explore the art of undulation—a gentle, wave-like rhythm that awakens your body's natural intelligence.
Date
Friday, July 10, 2026
Time 7 - 8:30 p.m.
Cost $25 ($20 member)

Guided by Flutura Creative’s somatic arts approach, you’ll be encouraged to move with curiosity, connect with the living world, and rediscover the joy of embodied presence.

This is an invitation to step into the beauty of the moment, where art and nature inspire heartfelt connection and playful exploration. Whether you’re new to somatic practices or simply curious, this journey will leave you feeling inspired, alive, and deeply connected to yourself and the world around you.

Instructor: Alexandra Granato-Garcia, Flutura Creative – Somatic Arts Practitioner (RSME/T)

Facilitator Note: This is an experiential journey, not just a movement class, recommended for ages teen – adult. Through sensation, visualization, and the 5 stages of human movement development, we’ll explore the body’s innate intelligence. We’ll move from earth to mat, so shoes that are easily removed are recommended. Please bring a yoga mat, water to nourish your body, and anything for your added comfort, like a blanket or small cushion. A journal is also encouraged to capture insights or reflections that may arise. This experience includes a guided process art activity for integration—supplies will be provided, but you’re welcome to bring your favorite art materials if you desire to personalize your creative process.
