After the Springtime honey flow around San Antonio, beekeepers typically remove surplus honey frames from the hive for extraction or harvesting. This means taking the honey out of the comb using a centrifugal extractor and then straining the honey to remove wax particles before bottling. The end result is pure raw and truly local honey that’s simply delicious!
The garden’s culinary team will be pairing up perfect bites to go with the fresh honey. Attendees will also go home with a jar of their own local honey.
